If you have ever wondered how to make a Barbie fashionista, this is the guide you’re looking for.
You’ll need: – 2 Barbie doll moulds (available in a range of colours and shapes) – 1 Barbie doll (3 dolls total) – 2 rubber bands to hold them together (these will also make an air-tight seal) – a plastic bag or bag of glitter – an old pair of panties or other fabric to attach to the dolls legs, and the rubber bands – a sewing machine and a pair of scissors – some nail polish (optional) – some hair gel (optional).
Step 1: Take a doll mould and cut the two halves into 3d shapes.
Cut out the base of the doll mould, making sure to get a good fit.
You may also need to cut out a few bits of the base to make it fit properly.
Step 2: Using your sewing machine, sew together the base mould halves to make them.
It will look like this: Step 3: Make sure to make sure the doll is snug in the mould, and not fall over.
Step 4: Attach the doll to the mould by carefully pressing down on the fabric and making sure it sticks to the base.
Step 5: Sew along the fabric, making a line at the bottom.
Step 6: Flip the doll over and repeat on the other side.
Step 7: Now it’s time to make the doll’s legs.
First, sew the rubber band around the base, making it easy to secure the doll with the glue.
Then, sew along the top of the legs, taking care to make as much seam allowance as possible.
Step 8: Using a sewing needle, sew two seam allowances onto the fabric of the shoes.
Step 9: Once the seam allowances are attached, sew them down to the back of the shoe.
Step 10: Now, glue the legs onto the mould.
Step 11: The doll should now look like the one pictured below.
You can see that it has the correct height, but that it is a bit loose, which I don’t mind because it’s not too big.
Step 12: Now you just need to attach the shoes to the doll by simply pinching them together with your sewing needle.
The doll is now ready to wear!
Step 13: To wear the doll, you’ll need to tie a small elastic band around it to keep it on.
This will ensure that the doll will stay on for hours.
Step 14: If you are planning on putting the doll on in a shop, you can use a sewing kit to attach it to the wall, to make an attractive display.
Step 15: The best part is, you don’t have to make any effort to make things look good!
It’s just a matter of choosing a pair or two that suit you, and attaching them with the rubber-band-gadget method.
If you’re planning to wear the dolls feet in public, it’s best to make that a bit more colourful, or to make some fun decorations, such as balloons, bows and other decorations.
